Lovage in the Studio
"In the beginning there was nothing. God said, 'Let there be light!' And there was light. There was still nothing, but you could see it a whole lot better." - Ellen Degeneres
I was in the studio the other night and was working on a song that's coming out on my next album. It's called Lovage. The chorus: Your light, your light / cast from you eyes / it falls upon our silhouettes like music moving through the night / I'm still in love with you.
I went live on Facebook and Instagram and made a video of the process. Check it out on YouTube here.
I went on a weekend getaway to Hudson and Catskill in upstate New York with my friend Dina this past weekend. It felt amazing to see golden light on the trees and be inspired by new places.
Here are some pics of the wild artist's house we stayed in. Gotta love that taxidermy toilet and the close up of its Christmas manger filled with sheep figurines near the bottom of the photos.
That's all for now, Lionheart. I'll be in the studio working on writing vocal hooks for a collaboration and honing my producing skills on my new music. Keep on pluggin' and chuggin'.
Mad love. Wishing you inspiration and expansion.
